I love that quote. When you think about it, the gifts we really want to give to the people we love are intangible. They're the things we would give to them over and over -- the gift of love, the gift of joy, the gift of confidence, the gift of peace... all the things that won't fit in a box or cute gift bag. Things you want them to have every. day.
But, being mere mortals, all we can do is love each other and try to show it the best way we can. So, we give gifts -- the kind that actually can fit in a box or gift bag -- such as... a scented candle. Like it or not, gift giving season is rapidly approaching.
